An Industry Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) of Information Technology is a dedicated body in educational institutions that strengthens collaboration between academia and industry. Its primary objective is to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical industry requirements.
The IIIC facilitates continuous interaction with industries to ensure that students gain exposure to real-time technologies, industry practices, and professional expectations. It helps align the curriculum with current market trends and enhances students’ employability skills.
The Department of Information Technology (IT) has developed strong academic–industry partnerships through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with reputed IT companies, technology organizations, and research institutions. These collaborations enable student internships, industrial training, expert talks, coding boot camps, and hands-on exposure to real-world software development and emerging technologies. The MoUs also support collaborative research, consultancy, innovation projects, and technology development aligned with current industry demands. Such partnerships bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation, enhance technical proficiency and employability skills, and foster a culture of innovation among students and faculty.
